There was no built-in driver for it in Win7 release, good thing, as the Win7RC1 driver ATSC quality was not very good. Maybe a power issue as the device gets pretty warm in use. Played with it over the weekend at home and it works great in Windows 7 but the install was flakey, only one of my three front accessable USB ports will work with it. Unless it works really well on my real Win7 system, I'll be returning it next week. The on the motherboard Nvidia video is not top of the line though, but the 8.04 system is an old 1.4GHz Athelon with a Nvidia 6200 video card and CPU usage seems less and video display quality better Xorg and TV player CPU % seems awfully high in top (AMD Quad core in the 7s on Win7 experience scale for CPU and RAM). I try again this weekend on my "real" Win7 box at home (wanted this for work to capture SVHS & U-matic tapes recorded with a monochrome camera). I did a limited test on Windows7 RC1 (expired, two hour limit) and was less than impressed with the over the air HDTV quality. Show stopper for me is in both apps the display goes nuts - losing sync, color flashes, if I play a black and white (monochrome) tape Quality is not so good with a lot of jitter during fast action scenes or fast camera pans (clearly inferior to a BT8x8 capture card on 8.04). That appears to work in TVtime or VLC, but.

My interest is capturing 720x480 video from a VCR. I can't get any of the HDTV to work, but I haven't tried too hard yet. It plugs into 9.10 and is found, automatically creating /dev/video0.
